In the consolation game, Lawrence led at halftime 23 - 17. Valley Stream North would make two runs during the 3rd quarter olny to see Lawrence's Farah Desvarieux and Ashley O'Keefe hit two big threes. VSN closed to within 26 - 25, when Desvarieux hit her three to close out the 3rd quarter 29 - 25. In the 4th quarter, VSN would never get closer 4 points 38 - 34, as Lawrence used an 11 - 4 run to hold off VSN. Lawrence's Katie Moliski was named to the All-Tournament team. VSN Jackie Canny (All-Tournament) will be a player to watch as the season progresses.
