Dec. 29th - Saturday: Betphage lost to Saranac Lake HS in Holiday Hoopfest at Lake Placid Olympic Center 41 - 45 (score had not been reported); Floral Park defeated Steel Valley HS (PA) in KSA Events Holiday Basketball Tournament 52 - 40 (5th Place game); Manhasset lost to Ripley HS in KSA Events Holiday Basketball Tournament 53 - 71 (Championship Game); Smithtown West defeated Horace Greely 56 - 50; St John the Baptist defeated Central Dauphin HS (PA) in Losers Bracket of Diamond State Classic 43 - 36; St John the Baptist, which lost their first game, will play Caravel Academy for 5th Place. Game is scheduled for 11:15am on Sunday. Results can be found at www.diamondstateclassic.org Ursulane Academy (playing without the number 1 player in the 2008 class - Elaina Della Donne) is playing Lexington Christian Academy for the championhsip. Della Donne has been sidelined due to mono. Middleton HS is playing St Elizabeth HS for third place, while Franklin County will play Central Dauphin HS for 7th place.
