Greetings,
My name is Tiffany C. Silver, as well as being an alumnus of Western High School; I am beginning my 3rd year as Head Coach of the Varsity Basketball Team at Western High School in Baltimore, Maryland. I would first like to thank you for giving me this opportunity to tell you about this wonderful tribute we have put together. On December 14th, 15th, and 16th 2007, we are holding our 2nd Annual Mixer in honor of legendary Western Coach Breezy Bishop.
“2ND ANNUAL BREEZY BISHOP CLASSIC".
Coach Bishop has compiled a record of 424-40 in 24 seasons at Western High School in Baltimore. Coach Bishop has achieved back-to-back Maryland State Championships and 17 Baltimore City Championships with her teams consistently ranked among the nations best by USA TODAY. I had the privilege of playing under Coach, being part of one of those great teams, and experiencing first hand the knowledge, passion, and love of the game she possessed. I think I can speak for all the ladies that ever played for Coach that she instilled a sense of pride and great work ethics in all of us.
My staff and I thought it was long over due to honor a woman who has brought so much to Baltimore, Maryland and abroad in women's basketball. This three-day event will be held at Western High School 4600 Falls Rd Baltimore, MD 21209 and will feature some the United States Best Female basketball athletes. The fee for tournament is $115.00 for one day, $200.00 2-days, and $300.00 for all three days. T-shirts and programs will be provided for each player and coach.
