2. Sachem East: Two consecutive 25-point wins in league play. Ward Melville should be toughest test in League I (beat Patchogue-Medford 58 - 31)

3. St. John the Baptist: Drops from top spot after 37-32 loss to Holy Trinity. Bounced back with 62-46 win over St. Mary’s. (beat St. Dominic's 48 - 30)

4. North Babylon: Sophomore Bria Hartley has averaged 23.2 points in her last five games. (beat West Babylon 64 - 36)

5. Commack: Could this be the year Commack wins it all? Commack crushed Northport, 62-47, as Sammy Prahalis had 37 points, 10 steals and six rebounds. (defeated Newfield 61 - 48)

6. Copiague: Primed for big run with return of Ieasia Walker, who had 11 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists, and eight steals in last game. (beat Smithtown East 64 - 37)

7. Holy Trinity: Pulled off a huge 37-32 road win at St. John the Baptist, which lost in league play for just the second time in three seasons. Holy Trinity then beat St. Dominic, 65-41. Keep an eye on this team. (beat Kellenburg 47 - 40)

8. Calhoun: Drops after 56-43 loss to Hicksville. Game was tied after three quarters, but Calhoun struggled mightily in the fourth quarter. (lost to Massapequa 40 - 56, beat PJFK 50 - 26)

9. Herricks: Dominating right now. Is this team for real? We’ll find out when it plays Conference AA-I teams. (lost to Massapequa 46 - 58)

10. Floral Park: Defending Nassau Class A champion starting to hit stride with four consecutive wins.
