No. 39                      Shanel Harrison, 6'0, WF

    The Hokies only have one recruit, but she’s an important one. Harrison is a big-time wing player. She is a great athlete with a scorer’s mentality.

WEST VIRGINIA

No. 74                      Jessica Capers, 6’0, WF
No. 156                    Dominique Dixon, 5’8, SG
No. 212                    Amanda Keehan, 6’1, WF
No. 12 JUCO             Madina Ali, 6'1, PF

   Capers is a wonderful athlete with impressive hops. She played in the paint early in her career, but she is expanding her game. Most importantly, Capers has always played with intensity. Dixon is a shooter with good size, while Keehan is a skilled, fundamental player who works hard on the court.

   This is a deep, talented class, with five players who could see court time as freshmen. Roche is a lefty guard who slashes to the rim. Crawford is a tremendous athlete who could play the three or four. Magee is another superior athlete who will head east from Oklahoma. McBride fits the Hoya mold, bringing size and athleticism.

   Johnson is a great get for the Hurricanes. She is a great athlete with a great body, and she can do it all on the court. Williams is an athletic point guard who can distribute or attack the rim.

TEXAS TECH

No. 25                     Kierra Mallard, 6'3, C
No. 234                   Ebony Bunton, 6'0, PF
No. 279                   Lindie Kimbro, 5'8, SG

    Mallard is a long-armed athlete who will give the Lady Raiders a true low post presence on both ends of the court. Bunton is a blue collar player with an athletic body, and Kimbro will help on the perimeter.

    Ash is a big-time athlete with long arms and the skills to play multiple positions. Berry is another good athlete, and her strong work ethic should make her successful in the Big East.

    Stevens is a superb addition. She is the type of athlete who can grab a rebound and then take it coast-to-coast. Murphy is also very athletic, and she possesses good skills and she knows how to run the show.
