In her return to OLMA, Coach Cerrone started her returning five seniors (Corinne Bergano, Kristen DeRespiris, Kathryn Flood, Brittany LeGuelaff and Alicia Testaverde) and easily opened a 39 - 13 halftime lead. LUHI held a 6 - 2 lead with 6 minutes to go, before OLMA turned up the defensive pressure and outscored LUHI 18 - 1 over the next 4 minutes. In the second quarter, LUHI continued to struggle even with OLMA's bench players in the game. OLMA held LUHI scoreless for 5 minutes. In the second half, OLMA's intensity subsided and it showed in their offense as they were held scoreless for the entire 3rd quarter. LUHI continued to sruggles at the offensive end but to their credit their level of play at the defensive end improved in the second half. OLMA: 20 - 39 - 39 - 48, LUHI: 9 - 13 - 18 - 20.
